Abstract
Background: Pressure ulcers are associated with long stay in the hospital and
notably create a financial burden to family and health care system as well. Pressure ulcers can
result in mortality and psycho-social consequences
Aim of the Study: The aim of this study was to Assess Factors Contributing to Ineffective
Prevention of Pressure sores among nurses working in Surgery, Internal medicine and Intensive
Care Unit at KIBUYE Referral Hospital.
