PREVALENCE OF VAGINAL CANDIDIASIS IN PREGNANT WOMEN WITH URINARY TRACT INFECTION ATTENDING AT GATARE HEALTH CENTRE

Abstract

Candidiasis are very serious health problem acting millions of people per year worldwide .Most common etiologic agent of this type of fungal infection; involve the upper and lower urinary tract vaginal candidiasis presenting approximately 70% of cases in world wide. Vaginal candidiasis is a serious problem especially in Sub-Saharan Africa, However in Rwanda no much study have been conducted to show the prevalence of vaginal candidiasis.
