Abstract
Neonatal sepsis (NS) is a worldwide problem that poses a management challenge
to neonatal and infant care groups. According to the Global Burden of Disease (GBD), neonatal sepsis and associated infections will cause 1.3 million incident cases per year and 203000 sepsisrelated neonatal deaths (James et al. 2018).
