Abstract

Cesarean section is the usual major surgical procedure carried out in low- and middle-profit countries About 23% of all maternal deaths were infections-related in the United States, which means that the developed countries were not immune to this serious problem about 19·1 % of deliveries worldwide although In sub-Saharan Africa the prevalence of SSI after LSCS ranges from 7 to 48 % majority of these studies were from urban and/or tertiary facilities.
